Who we are
Two local owners, one full plumbing package
Ben Elliott opened Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing in Grass Valley in 2013. Born and raised in Nevada County, he learned the trade through a six-year apprenticeship under Penrose Plumbing, working high-end custom homes, remodels and commercial construction.
In 2018 the company incorporated and brought on partner Kevin Madsen, who spent several years in service plumbing with Roto-Rooter of Grass Valley. Between them, the shop covers both sides of the trade.
Ben and Kevin live in the community they serve. Their families are here, their kids go to school here, and most of the homes they work in belong to someone a neighbour sent them to. Off the clock you'll find them camping, fishing and riding around Nevada County.
